Laboratorio de desarrollo de proyectos en Video Danza LAB VD11

The XIII International Festival of VideoDanzaBA - in collaboration with TyPA - invites artists working in videodance, dance, film, video, visual arts and related disciplines to participate in a development lab for videodance projects. The objective of this training area is to contribute to the development of projects by artists that are already exploring the field of videodance and those wanting to venture into it, who require a forum for discussion and expert advice to address the specific problems of a production of their own.

VIDEO DANZA

Colón Workshop for Emerging Latin American Filmmakers

This workshop was created for young filmmakers in the process of pre-producing their first or second feature film. The aim is to stimulate the exchange of ideas and the intensive analysis and discussion of experimental feature film projects of each of the participants conducted by international specialists. This programme received support from the Hubert Bals Fund (Holland), Goteburg Film Fund (Sweden), Proa and Universidad del Cine foundations and the Program for Media Artists (supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Ford Foundation), as well as other institutions.

Buenos Aires Lab – BAL

Organized by TyPA and the BAFICI / International Idependent Film Festival, Buenos Aires Lab (BAL) is a series of activities oriented towards professional networking and financing, whose beneficiaries are the region's filmmakers and producers.  Professionals from all over the world (producers, international vendors, distributors, television networks, and investors) participate.

Audiovisual Production Workshop for Central American and Caribbean Film Directors

In collaboration with CINERGIA—Fund for audiovisual development in Central America and the Caribbean—the TyPA Foundation organized these workshops, which took place in San José, Costa Rica, for young directors.  The goal of the annual workshop was to provide participants with the tools to develop their full-length feature film projects and to create a meeting ground for the region's directors.
