Editor’s week in Buenos Aires We believe that good books can travel throughout the whole world. We believe that good editors are fundamental in this journey. We believe that there is no better way of discovering new authors than through personal, individual contact. That is why - since 2002 - we invite a small group of editors interested in literature from Latin America to spend a week in Buenos Aires and obtain a first-hand look at the international promotion of young fiction writers whose work is ready for translation. More than 100 foreign editors and translators specializing in Latin American literature have already been invited to participate in readings and discussions on Argentine literature during our TyPA Editor’s week. The program is supported by The Buenos Aires Book Fair, Goethe Institut Buenos Aires and the Italian Cultural Center, among other institutions.
